چکیده
The aim of this paper is to present how the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic has changed our language and way we communicate. article focuses on recent Spanish neologisms that have appeared during year 2020 attempts analyze their word-formation process. theoretical framework study based classification proposed by M.T. Cabré Castellví (2006). Firstly, highlights semantic innovations, is, which are formed through broadening, narrowing or change meaning base form. Secondly, different types word formation mechanisms, such as affixations, compounding, conversion shortening discussed. also gives new insights into most creative ways vocabulary related coronavirus (COVID-19) expanded (lexical borrowing, wordplay). data were collected from articles, books, dictionaries, social media various websites.
